Steve Jobs: A timeline of the Legend

"Steven Paul Jobs"  also know as  Steve Jobs
[Feb 24, 1955 – Oct 5, 2011] was a computer entrepreneur and innovator from America. He was co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple Inc. Jobs also  served as chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios; he became a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company in 2006, following the acquisition of Pixar by Disney. He was credited in Toy Story (1995) as an executive producer.

Milestones In Steve Jobs Lifetime

1955 -February 24:  Steven Paul Jobs has born in San Francisco as first son of Carole Schieble and Abdulfathah Jandali. Steve was adopted by Paul and Clara Job's
1961: Jobs Family moves to Silicon Valley, California. Which was called Mountain View before the Electronic Revolution.

1968: Steve Jobs received internship in Hewlett- Packard when he called Bill Hewlett for spare-parts to build a frequency counter.

1970: Through a friend Steve Jobs meets Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple.

1972: Graduated from Homestead High School, Cupertino. Joins at Reed College and drops out after a semester. Jobs could understand better about Calligraphy here which inspired him later to create beautiful fonts for Apple Systems.

1974: Works as an Engineer at Atari. At night helped Wozniak to build single-player Pong. He travels to India and gets Buddhist Values.

1976: Started Apple Computers with Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. They could sell Apple I in a Kit.

1977 - January 3: Apple Incorporated.

1984 - January 24: Introduces Macintosh in the Apple's shareholder meeting. He demonstrated how the computer speaks for itself.

1985 - September 12: Steve Jobs was thrown out of Apple and resigns as Apple Chairman. He sells some of his Apple shares and starts NeXT Computer. One of his products was used later by Tim Burners- Lee at CERN for the first World Wide Web server.

1986 - February 3: He buys Lucasfilm which becomes Pixar Animation Studios.

1988: NeXT Computer releases their first computer.

1993: NeXT became less interested in Hardware Field, More concentrated on Software. It becomes NeXT Software, Inc.

1995 - November 29: Jobs became Pixar's president and CEO. Brings Pixar to public after the release of "Toy Story", the animation Film.

1996 - December 10: Returns to Apple as an adviser after Apple bought NeXT Software.

1997 - July 9: Became CEO of Apple again.

1997 - November 10: Introduced Apple Store which enabled customers to order Apple products directly from company.

1998 - January 8: Apple again in Profit state.

1998- May 6: Introduced iMac.

2000 - January 5: Becomes iCEO at the MacWorld Expo. Taking only $1 Annual Salary. Terminated some of the projects.

2001- January 9: Introduced iTunes for Mac users.

2001- March 24: Introduced Mac OSX 1.0 Codenamed Cheetah.

2001- October 23: Introduces iPod.

2004 - August 1: Jobs undergoes surgery to remove a tumor in his pancreas.

2005 - January 11: iPod Shuffle is introduced.

2005 - June 6: Transition of Macs from IBM Chips to Intel's Duo Chips.

2005 - September 7: iPod Nano unpacked.

2007 - January 9: Drops "Computer" from Apple. Introduced iPhone.

2007 - September 5: iPod Touch is introduced.

2008 - January 15: App Store comes.

2008 - June 9: Unveils MobileMe the cloud offering from Apple.

2009 - January 14: 6 - month leave from Company due to Medical Reasons.

2010 - January 27: iPad comes, the small tablet sold 500,000 during first week itself.

2011 - January 17: Goes on Medical Leave again.

2011 - March 2: Surprise appearance in Wraps off the iPad 2.

2011 - June 6: Gives a keynote speech at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference.

2011 - June 7: Pitches Cupertino a new Apple Campus.

2011 - August 24: Resigns from Apple CEO Post, becomes Board Chairman Again.

2011 - October 05: Passed Away due to the pancreatic cancer
